Identify that serindipious
that’s what I was planning on doing next as soon as rain lets up
i checked air gap at signal coil spot on.
I have continuity from the distributor wires in the igniter to ecu.
i had high resistance on the signal coil in the distribution and I also checked all 4 wires from tps to ecu and they all had continuity and their resistance as far as I understand it were good..I have given the tos more thought and even though it was not connected and looked like the culprit it could of and most likely did fall off many miles before the stall because the zip tie holding it was broken and I had simply not gotten to the repair yet. I recall i she was breaking up many miles prior and I certain it was a plug wire that I had 10 miles before replaced all of them because she was running on three cylinders at least that is how she was acting . The resistor checks out fine but for some reason I suspect it. I have a date and will probably throw that on at some point. I have recently soldered and shrink wrapped them and hate to open them up😉
from what I have read the ne signal rarely fails but it could be. What about the other signal the g* and igt
thanks

On again off again
Scratching my head until I had a line of rabbits walking backwards on my head (receding hare line)I decided to check spark again. Being I was alone turning the key and holding the plug to ground was a yoga move and after checking again and thinking that the weak spark was due to it being a poor ground I decided to throw on a spare coil I had. Bingo fired right up. 7 days, at least 3 new lifelong friends a free battery and countless hours busking on the streets of eureka and much more I was on the road again. At least until that evening when I went to leave an open jam my battery was to weak to support headlights cause alternator was not charging. So all the connections and grounds that I had cleaned were all looked at again., voltmeter test and this one o puzzles me. Why with ign on do I get 12 volts to each side of fusible link. I think it’s the 8 week old alternator regulator cause all else checks out. Charge light was on that entire day so it was not a surprise but what gets me is when I broke down a week ago my dash volt meter read 14 and now 12
any input?
Another note worth mentioning is # 1 injectors lead has a intermittent miss rectified with a wiggle so I think perhaps that was is part of my problem. I know now the location of all grounds and all my connections are clean with a dab of dialect ric paste so that’sa good thing
thanks everyone from this imposter mechanic.
I’ll get to advice on my proportional valve next time

Well, thank God you finally got it figured out. Glad you made some new friends. Hope your travels after getting the alternator issue rectified will be a blessed adventure full of wonderful experiences.
seems you made lemonade out of the lemons you were given.
