Shocks shocks shocks

I’m a fan of Bilstein.
as for holding 900lbs in rear that is going to be springs not shocks. Chevy 63s are a awesome but I Offroad so load carrying capabilities are low on priority list. But they do well with 4rnr extra weight, spare, tools, fluids, camping gear, and cooler. And still Offroad awesome while loaded.

2) Old Man Emu makes a heavy duty leaf pack for these trucks. No idea if it's rated for that kind of weight, though. I'd assume it would be?
3) Everyone i know with cab over/slide in campers has had helper bags installed on their rigs to help with the additional weight.

So, 1.) You DO have IFS. That stands for "Independent Front Suspension." It doesn't have a solid axle like the rear.
2.) Helper bags and basically Air springs that would be installed on the top of the spring in the center (Where the axle is located) and then mounted on the top side to the frame. You inflate them to increase your load carrying capability. These work great in that when there's no load you can deflate them some and they won't ride horribly. A replacement leaf spring designed to haul extra weight like you want will ride very harsh without that weight.
3.) Those appear to be factory springs. I.e. They're going to sag with 900lbs in the back.

I know you're looking for rear-shocks with some suspension lift, but if you want some [nearly] new front shocks for *free*, just let me know. KYB Monomax 565058 -- they were too stiff for my '87 that sees mostly pavement these days so I took them off after not many miles, but they might make sense for a truck like yours with heavier loading. Anyone who wants them can have them for free (or shipping cost).
