Shifting To 4wd

OKAY , this is my question. It might be kinda stupid since I have already used the the 4wd , but is it okay to shift into 4h while the rig is moving , or do I have to stop put it into neutral , and then put it into 4h , like I have been doing ???? this is on a 95 4runner

you can shift into 4 high on the fly. just dont use it on the pavement. make sure you stop before you go into 4 low though...

Always stop and put the vehicle into neutral (AT) to shift to 4wd Lo but to 4wd Hi it doesnt matter so long as you arent going more than 50 as per the placard in my T100 Dave.

Fixxed, important detail added.
