Never, ever apologize for being "picture heavy!" As someone else mentioned please post more pics of the paint job. It looks really great in pictures. I love the color.

The color is just the rustoleum Charcoal Grey. And the lighting definitly masks alot of the blemishes in the paint. Heres a few more shots, alot of orange peel, but I was never seat on making this thing look perfect, just better than it was. Still have yet to run a buffer over it to get rid of the rough specs of dust, hopefully next week.

And still need to source out a passenger side corner light...they are hard to find at the junkyards around here.

CBR is my neighbors, ridden it a few times and gotta say it may be one of my next rides.

I would like more info on how your dad got the stock pully on the new alt. If you were to drill the stock pully to fit over the new alt's shaft then the pully would sit to close to the alt and no longer be in line with the belt. Did he use a bushing to space it out away from the alt? If so do you know what size he used. Any info is greatly apprciated. As soon as i get this all figured out im going to post a detailed write up on how to do this.

Thanks a lot for sharing your cool find on Alternator! Having problem with mine so I'm leaning toward this route IF i really need to replace mine.
Happy Holidays!

Some posts say that XJ3 alternator pulley simply needs to be directly replaced with stock 4runner alternator pulley- Almost PnP except that XJ3 alt is slightly bigger so adjustable mounting bracket needs a little bending to make it fit.
