Nah. He didn't steal it. I let him borrow it for a while before I come back and start my usual shananagins.

Im going to be doing sea foam in my 3.0 tommorrow.
what exactly do i do

1/3 or 1/4 in bb boster line while running?
what rpm?

then enough to stall engine?
how much should it take?

1/3 in oil.
is it ok even if i just changed oil 50 miles ago?

then 1/3 in gas tank right?
just dont want to hurt lazy3.0

Dont worry about what rpms just as long as its running. Feel free to rev it up every once in a while if you'd like. Just do exactly how the directions says. 1/3 in each is fine. DONT WORRY, it is not going to hurt your truck. It doesnt matter how new your oil is but I PREFER to put it in just a few days before Im going to change my oil. Its all preference. The longer its in, the longer it has to work I guess. Just watch the video, read directions and thats it. Theres nothing you can do to hurt it.

No prob. Umm I dont remember off the top of my head. Just read the directions tho. I believe the order goes pour 1/3 into the hose then shut off the vehicle. Either by stalling or simply turning it off normally. Then wait 5-10 minutes and start it up. Pour the other 2/3 into the other parts and thats it. If you are asking if you need to stall it using the fluid, no just pour however much you want in and then turn it off.

i did the sea foam, smoked for 3 or 4 minutes at idle, then another 5 or 6 minutes of driving.

world of difference, runs so much better now!

I did seafoam. two cans in my tank at about 1/2 to 3/4 full and ran it down to the fuel light. Then I put 2/3's can in the manifold while it was running, shut her down and dumped the rest of the can in the manifold and let it sit for 30 minutes or so.

I put a high concentration in the tank to help get rid of some so there wouldn't be any large chunks blocking up the O2 sensor or getting into the cat.

It seemed to do well. smoked like crazy while I was pouring it in the manifold and for a few minutes after I let it sit.

I could tell a difference in response, but we'll see if there is any MPG change. I live in the mountains, so all the steep hills kill the MPG even more than the flat lands.

I am going to put a can in the crankcase and hopefully it will clean out the sludge in there. I have not done that and on the can it just says pour it in the crankcase.

How much? How long do I run it for? Do you run it for 15 minutes and then change the oil or do you run it for days like someone mentioned earlier? Can I dump in a whole can?

I figure at $6 a can, what is $24 for a complete flush of the old grime the first time and then just hit one can every 10K afterwards.

mhm. i cant wait to try it out. of couse ive got close to 60k on my 94 truck right now, so its not like im expectin to dump out a ton of stuff, but i hope it helps a little bit.

however, i do expect it to make a bigger difference in my dads maxima. a 96, but its got over 100k on it. im likin his car more and more.

of course it helps over the last week ive done over 200 bucks of audio upgrades in it. hehehe. sounds sooo much better. now if only the seafoam works magic like some new speakers do.

Wow, only 60k on a 94. My 93 gets some seafoam tonight, she turned 149,500 on the way to work this morning. My 4 runner has 249,000 and the seafoam made quite the difference in throttle feel. It smoked like crazy for 15 minutes or so.

well, ran some through last night. poured it in at the field before a lacrosse game. had to turn up the idle to keep it from dyin too fast, but i shoulda figured cause its too low to begin with. madre wants it to be real quite. my trucks supposed to sound like my dads car. funny thing is, her minivan makes more noise than mine at 2 grand. lol

anyways, it sat for a couple hours, then it started up, pretty easy, and didnt rly smoke, so i was slightly disapointed,(some kid thats a jerk was parked next to me with his windows down and his music up loud... i was hopin)lol, but when i got on the gas it puffed up pretty good. as i drove out of the parking lot, i sporadically reved high, and it shot out clouds. musta looked funny... little truck revin and shootin out clouds of nasty. hehehe.

now to try it on the maxima...

and yes, it is pretty low mileage. was my grandparents up until a couple years ago. they only drove it on trips occasionaly to get up north to visit family there. so its pretty much just sat. since ive got ahold of it the miles have started turnin faster. woo.

I had my throttle body cleaned about 3k ago..and I have a custom intake, which is clean when i take the filter off and look down it.
Should I consider seafoaming? If so, can someone tell me a step by step process to doing it, or is there an instructional guide online?

The seafoam treatment is supposed to clean all the crap out of the inside of your engine. (carbon buildup ect.) Should you? If you ahve a lot of miles and want to clean it out...then do it. There are different ways of using the stuff. Gas, oil, vaccume hose into the engine. Search on YT and you will find a step by step
