Scuba's 500ff Install.
So I did have some trouble wiring them up, no big deal, figured it out with help from everyone.
Heres a couple pics of them installed, Im still waiting on pics from the other night of the
and installing
Also, I mounted them like this because :
A. You dont see it very often
B. Keep the black and whites away
C. Keep the crackheads and thieves away
D. Its just bada$$
In picture two and three, if you really know a yota you can tell what i cut out of the grille with a dremel
Note the red box on picture two, hard to see.
But i dremeled it out and had a black spray can lying around so i sprayed it down.
And yes, they are actually mounted upside down
Im pretty proud of myself.
I will be updating later tonight when my buddy gets me the pics she took from the night we installed em.
Enjoy, and feel free to ask any questions that concern you.
Mounted

You can slightly see the red square which is the area i dremeled out

i know that my 5.5 procomps put out a LOT of heat, and i accidentally melted my light covers when i left them on...

good point x2, never really thought of that, although, i think the grille plastic is a tad bit more robust then the little light covers.

Sorry I wasn't available to help you other than on the phone, but what you've done looks bardarse!
How's the light pattern on the ground and how far do they light up the road ahead of you?

Honestly, i just got enought washers and a couple extra nuts so that the main mounting bolt was down far enough so the hood closes.
But no worries kirk, i got it done.
Ill have night pics up tonight after i get them adjusted

so dumb me, didn't have the camera to take some pics of the lights against the garage door...
oh wait... Sin91 had the camera at work...

nah, really, it all looked pretty good.
my 4runner's lights had a bit 'whiter' light than the driving lights he has, and one of his lights was pointing a bit too far 'left' (into oncoming traffic) but I think otherwise he's got the lights working well.
