SAS Questions

Here is a picture of my front springs. The truck is an 86 and it was SAS'd by the PO. THe shackle in the front is 3.5 inches bolt to bolt, and from reading, this is a stock shackle size. What is the size shackle that i should have on here? or shall I say, are you not supposed to use stock shackels for a SAS?

And this is a longshot.
I have no idea of the manufacture of my springs. There are no identifying markers, except on the rear springs it says ToyotaRear37 in stencil. The front has the old backings of decals but no text.
My issue is i want to drop the lift down and I jsut want to see what I have to begin with. The rear shackels are 6.5 inches bolt to bolt, and there is even a 2 inch block under the spring. I know how i am gonig to lower the rear, but if i go for a longer shackle in the front I am going to gain lift. GRRRR.

Thanks

5 to 6 depending on springs and setup.

The shackle angle in the front doesn`t look good, its almost touching the frame.

use 5" greasable shackles and throw away the stock ones.
