flashing o/d light

Got in my truck to drive home last nigh, put on the turn signal and I notice that the o/d light is flashing slowly. Anyone know what this means?

That means the computer has stored a trouble code for the transmission, similar to the 'Check Engine Light'.

It means the transmission computer has a code. What year truck do you have? Here are the codes for 1st gen.

On my 4runner, you ground the square plug shown below, switch the ignition on with OD on and the light will flash the code.

Solenoid #3 controls torque convertor lockup for 3rd and OD. Solenoid #4 activates the t case.

does this mean 64 and 65 will flash for the same solenoid? 64 and 65 are both for the same lock-up solenoid? or are there 2 seperate? 1 in the tranny and 1 in the tcase?

The diagram shows the same number of pulses for both codes, a mistake I think.
