For sale?
Hi guys i guess you could say im pretty new to the yota thing about a month ago i bought an 88 yota pickup its pretty standard its had 4x4 a 4 cyl engine ( 22R-e) 5 speed manual , It has 109,6XX miles and its a regular cab. Now my question here is what is it really worth? The cab inside and out is in fantastic shape there are 2 small dents in the hood but other then that its fine. The frame on this truck is in great shape no holes through it or anything the only real eyesore the truck has is the bed being rusted out so im wondering what would be a good selling price for it?

Welcome to YT.
Why are you selling a rig you just bought a month ago? Do you even have the pink slip in your name yet? lol.
if the bed is rusted out, there is likely rust elsewhere on the rig that may not be visible. not knowing anything about your rig, i would just throw out there it's worth $2500-3500 at best, and only because of the low mileage. In CA, if it were rust-free with that low of miles, it could potentially be worth $5k+ on a good day to the right buyer.

go on the local craigslist and check out what is available and prices. Some people think Toyotas are worth their weight in gold, but that usually isn't the case.
The beds rusting are pretty common, and don't have to signify more rust in other areas of the truck.

One of my students just bought a regular cab 91 4x4 22re 5speed with around 200,000 miles for 3200$ and the body/frame have absolutely no rust on them.
Just to give you an Idea.
Around here with some rust, like others have said, 1500-3000$ depending on alot of things. But pics would help us out alot.

here in southern Oregon kids love to f these things up and sell them for more than there worth. I see 5 every time I get on CL 3.0 w/ bad head gaskets and dented head to toe. still usually around 2k. I bought mine in surprisingly good condition inside and out just one scratch/dent in pas door 230k on clock with a bad 22re. I had to have it because it was a factory 22re 4runner(91) and absolutely no rust to speak of besides on the shocks I replaced. typical ugly faded 90s red color. so here they are hard to find not abused ike said before that would be a 3k truck give or take a couple hun.
