Hey guys. I just put a new 22re in and after about 500 miles the thing is starting to give a little poof of black smoke out the tailpipe when I rev it. Any idea?

Also: Anyone had trouble with a universal antenna grounding out on the body? I bought one the other day and it works fine until I try to tighten it down to the mounting hole.

oh forgot to mention that I have an engine code that says my O2 sensor is bad. Maybe this explains the smoke??

 

yea bad o2 sensor will make it run rich get a univ one and wire it in

 

Also, too much ignition advance will puff black smoke out the pipe when it starts to ping and detonate.
