round muffler or oval - whats the diff?

$180 for a magnaflow muffler at the local shops so needless to say, i'm looking online now. i'm looking for a 2.25" in/out muffler with an 18" body (this is what i've read is best for the 22re. i will probably being adding a header in the future. i see that magnaflow has round and oval mufflers and some have some new 3 chamber technology which i'm not too sure what that's all about. i guess what i should be asking is specifically what model should i be looking for?

Why do they call it ovaltine? The mug is round, the jar is round. They should call it roundtine.

Go with the oval it has more packing and will be a little quieter than the round. The round ones are a bit tinny sounding if you ask me.

The difference between round and oval is the ground clearance!
