Roof care

the body of my 2nd gen looks great, but when I looked at it from above today, I saw that the roof looks much worse! It's dull and looks sunbleached and worn.
no rust thankfully but it needs some TLC. What kind of product could I use on the roof to bring back a gleam and offer good protection at the same time?
something stronger than the doors/hood products might be appropriate because no one will really see the roof...any thoughts or ideas would be great

I bought some turtle wax ICE polish the other day, I wanted to use that with the liquid clay bar but they where out of that.

I did everything including my roof, I could really tell the difference, it didn't bring a nice gleaming shine back but it did give it a nice semi gloss, also made it look alot deeper.. if that makes any sence.

considering my truck has never been waxed or polished in 5+ years (cheapo paint job aswell)
