rering or rebuild

well kinda confused on what to do my motor spun the #4 rod bearing. i got a extra stock crank brand new mains and rod bearings but my problem is i want to make this truck my dd. the pistons look good but you could tell there was some blow by and the motor did burn a little oil. the block is in great shape and there is no evidence of the pistons making contack with the cylinder walls. i dont have that much money and i could get a ringset for not alot of $ and i have a cylinder hone, would it be wise to hone or just leave it how it is. i really dont want to buy a full rebuild since i dont have a lot of cash. so what do you guys think
