I could not get to this I didn't want to put a hole in it if it didn't come off now I know it does.

1sttoyotaparts.com, buy their reman CV axle assemblies; will only take you a few minutes to do each side and they're only $120, hard to beat for OEM quality.
I just did mine on my taco, very easy and didn't have to mess with the axle assemblies themselves, just ripped out the old for cores and threw the new ones in, good to go.
highly recommend doing both sides also, if one is bad, you can bet that the other is not far behind!

I might be looking in the wrong place but I just looked at that website and the cheapest I could find was close to 300 dollars I was looking at the napa ones I haven't read many bad review about them and does anyone have any detailed links to a cv replacement I have a general understand of it I just want to see all of the washers and lock ring inside the hub before I start

you're looking at the new ones, they're almost $400. find the remanufactured ones, much cheaper.
looks like they went up to $150 but still a good deal. not sure what year you got there.
I was a bit confused on the washers and retainer clip until I saw the new CV's, they had all of the new hardware on them already, nothing to transfer over thankfully. Literally just yoinked out the old, in with the new, took longer to jack up the vehicle and get the steering knuckle/brakes outta the way. Use a pry bar to yoink 'em out, rubber mallet will tap 'em back in place and button her back up.
