Question Replacement fuel hose for 22re

So I had my old 1987 22re rebuilt,(by Yota1 in Modesto) but when I was pulling it I foolishly damaged the soft fuel hose that goes from the fuel supply hard line to the "IN" side of the fuel filter. I have looked in vain for replacement, but seeing as the part was discontinued many moons ago, I can't seem to find one any were. Does anyone know of an alternative? I tried finding one for the second gen 4runner but those to seem to be gone with the wind. What about one form a 2rz or 3rz? I wonder if the fittings are the same sizes.

SIde note: in case anyone is wondering Yota1 is a fantastic shop, not a lot of info on the forums about them, but they build a great engine and run a very comprehensive shop.

Is there anything special about it, or is it just a piece of rubber fuel line, running from fitting to fitting?
In other words, is it a special, fitted, piece? Are the fittings it connects to permanently installed somehow, or does it push on, and have clamps to hold it?

If there's nothing super special about it, why not just go get a length of fuel line from an auto parts store, cut it to fit, and slide it on?

Can you post a picture of the piece you're concerned with? It would help us help you. A lot...

Reusable Aeroquip banjo fittings and appropriate fuel injection rated flexable hose.

The line on question has a threaded femal fitting on one end and a bajo bolt "eye" on the other, both are permanently affixed.

Connects to fuel hard line from pump

Bajo fitting to fuel filter inlet.

It is possible to cut/ grind that factory crimping tin off the original ends, to get down to the actual hose barbs that are on the fittings, and install suitable new hose with screw clamps.

I'd use the small clamps and double clamp each fitting.

Not the equal of the Aeroquip fittings I referred to previously, but substantially cheaper.

I just cut of the original ferrules, with minimum damage t the barbs. I'll see if I can make it work with EFI hose and claps. I'm wondering If I could have a welding shop clap on new ferrules?

So I called Toyota and confirmed that there is no replacement for this available, so don't break one! I did get a reference to a shop that specializes in hose repair and fabrication. They said that they could find a way to get it back together. The banjo fitting is not an issue as they are fairly standard, but the female end is a specialty part. So we shall see what they come up with. They may have to braze on a new barb that will accept a standard crimp ferrule. all in all it will probably cost less than an OEM part.

You could get a different fuel filter and skip all the custom work

I would still need to get fuel from the main line to the filter and that requires the particular threaded fitting, that is proprietary to Toyota.

Look at off road solutions. Something he makes may work.

I was suggesting an aftermarket filter that would have a more common fitting

The fitting on the filter is not the problem, banjo fittings a very common, its the comnection on the end of the hard line thats problematic.

Ill checknout off road solutions, I did see a extend line made fornthe 3rz swap that would work, although its $90, thats more than the custom repair job. Also Nick at Yota1 said he may have a good used one in the shop.

Take it to a hydraulic hose shop. They should be able to make something for you. Bring in the whole assembly to show what you need.

What you are likely looking for are standard AN to JIS fittings. This lets you use common AN lline and ends to mate with the Toyota bits. Or change to a non Toyota filter.

I'd have that proprietary Toyota fitting cut down and silver brased to an Aeroquip hose fitting in about 15 minutes. Aeroquip banjo on the other end. BAM!
