Alright I just rebuilt the engine in my 1986 toyota 4runner and now the little fuel hose that runs from the fuel filter to the injector fuel rail is seeping around the crimp joint. Non of the parts stores even show it and neither does rock auto.
So my question is has anyone else had this problem and If so where did you get a replacment?

I've never tried it, but a hydraulic-hose shop might be able to build one from the parts of your existing hose. They'll cut off the fittings and use a screw-type crimp with new hose. If $200 is too rich for you, it's something you could try.

Craig (wyoming9) was bringing up silver soldering as an option for me the other day when I was asking about fixing a pinched fuel line on the pump/tank mount thing. If you can't find a reasonably priced replacement maybe it's worth a shot.

Taking it to a shop would probably be the sure fire way to go.

Perhaps a used one lots of people parting out trucks .

This is the one from the fuel rail to the filter .

rubber hose with metal ends crimped on.

I know I have one floating around still attached to a fuel rail

We own then shop around here haha. What we.are going to do Is cut the metal crimp off where it's crimped together on both the filter and rail ends then we are going to pull the hose off and there will be a metal barb just like on a regular fuel system. Then we will take high pressure fuel Injection hose and use fuel injection clamps to attach it to the barb. If anyone is interested I will document it and post it in a thread for future references?

If you work on these trucks how could you not know this would be a dealer part??

Hey give him a break, he likes to park his truck with one foot on top of a huge rock when there is a perfectly flat space right next to it

the colective mind of yota tech is much smarter than me I was hoping this was a Common problem and had a easy fix that was known.
