When I was at Stan's Headers last week we spoke about Remflex header gaskets. My gaskets are fine for the time being but I was recommended to put these on if I ever had issues in the future.
I called Remflex and they looked up the part number, they do indeed make a set for the 3vze headers.
These are great gaskets that crush themselves to seal up any imperfections in the flange or head and then expand and eliminate the need for re-torqing. A lot of people I spoke with recommend them a lot. I didn't think they made one for our application but they do! Part number is RF7004, you can order them online here. if anyone is running these on their 3.0L runner I would be happy to hear your opinions. I may get these but am not sure what kind of a job it would be to install these on the 3vze, probably hellish? (if headers are already installed, could these gaskets be put in without pulling everything?)

 

You have to at least pull:
Power steering pump
Unbolt the crossover pipe
Remove the battery tray so you have more room to work. All the vacuum lines on the left side (passenger side)
Air intake
And I know I am missing some other stuff. Perhaps somebody else will chime in.
