Refrigerant oil
Need help confirming type of refrigerant oil for a new Densco 471- 1141 A/C
compressor for a 1990 Toyota truck with the 22r engine.
the instructions for the replacement compressor says to drain the R12 oil out of the unit and replace it with either ND- oil 8 for the reciprocating swashplate type compressor. Or ND - oil 9 for the rotary through vane type compressor. It is a 134a system.

If it's R12 put mineral oil
If it's a system that you are changing over from R12 and you are not replacing every component then use Ester Oil
If every AC part that holds refrigerant is brand new (condenser, dryer, compressor, txv, evaporator) then use PAG oil
