recommended ball joints?

I'm installing the OME lift plus BJ spacers from trdparts4u, and need to do the ball joints too. NAPA has uppers for $32, and $67. What brands of ball joints are best, or should the cheaper ones do fine? I do some mild off road, more muddy than rock, but do like trails.

I have finished the rear, and fitted one of the spacers in front at this point.

I like the Top line NAPA stuff personally, but some say the Toyota parts are better. Its kinda your option, try to stay away from the really cheap stuff.

Do not get Raybestos. I bought their Professional Grade, and hole pattern in the lowers was off, would not bolt up. I had to drill the damn things out to get them to bolt up.

I wish I had bought Moog, they seem to be the best.

RockAuto.com has Moog.

x2 with Outlaw, rockauto hasn't let me down yet and go with the Moog upper/lower balljoints and idler arm. I went with NAPA hiquality TRE's FWIW, good stuff.

I wouldn't go cheap like RMA just suggested either. I went with Moog uppers and lowers and it has been good so far. They come with zirk fittings too, the rubber dust caps were kind of a pain to get on and fully seat. Which ever ones you get torque the bolts to Toyota specs. I snapped a bolt head off going by Moog specs. At the time I bought these guys seemed to have the best prices...http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/

I replaced my lowers with MOOG's from Advance Auto Parts and I don't regret it.

I like to buy stuff from autohausaz.com. they only carry oem or better parts. I bought my tie rod ends there and they seem great, the brand is 555 and their made in japan. They also came with zyrc fittings anfand the rubber boots were already installed and greased. I will get my bjs there when I do my lift.

555 is sankei, the maker of the parts sold by the dealer and the original joints on the truck. Interesting that the sankei tie rod ends sold by autohausaz have zerks - the original parts don't. That's nice. autohausaz is a great vendor. I lucked into a sankei pitman sold by beck/arnley from rockauto.com a few years ago - it was CHEAP and the exact same part sold by the dealer. Judging from the pics, the b/a ball joints are also sankei, but with beck/arnley you can't be 100% sure where the parts come from (but many are japanese mfr). Also, looks like the b/a parts don't have zerks.

Never had an issue with MOOG's, they are lifetime warranty also, so if one does go bad, you get another free of charge. That's the only reason I see not to go with stock bj's from the dealer.
