recommendations for shocks?

Looking to get new shocks. Currently have rancho 5000s. 2 inch lift front and rear. Need some input or any recommendations? Thanks!

I'm assuming this is stock length for a non-lifted truck.

I've always loved my Rancho 9000s.

I bought my 90 Runner about a year and a half ago and it still had the stock shocks on it. I bought the Skyjacker Nitros and to be honest I couldn't really tell a difference. My ride is still really rough and I feel EVERY little bump. I am hoping that once I get the new springs for the rear and new tires on it will help some.

You can't go wrong with Bilsteins. They are expensive, but well worth it.

Exclamation ProCrap?

I've never heard anything good about any ProComp products. If you are on a budget, they're aftermarket, but that's it. The only product that I've seen any loyalty to is Bilstein. OME has a big following, but the Bilstein 5100 series is the most sought after shock for performance. I have Procomp on my rear now. They're not any better than the stock shocks. They're bigger and white, aftermarket, but not Professional Competition quality. It's cheap and on this forum there's one saying that should stay in memory, "Do it right the first time". Wanna waste money, go procrap. Wanna get something that works Bilstein, then OME, and someone mentioned KYB; they're more expensive, for a reason. People trust them for their quality.
