Ya,if you have the hydraulic tensioner,that could be the problem,mine passed the tests on the FSM so I reused it ,then after I got going was having problems with power under load and TN Rabbit suggested that the timing belt must be off so I tore it down and the marks were ok so I checked the tensioner and it had a very slight seepage of fluid so i changed it out and that did the trick. Not that hard to do since you will probably be going in there to recheck your timing marks

I still say it's your TPS or Knock Sensor. I forget; did you say you get any codes?

I originally had a code 72 so I reset it and now I got a code 71. I am going to definitely look at the timing and tensioner. How do you inspect the tps. I need to get ahold that shop manual!
