yes, as Avaitor pointed out, there are 4 gaskets total for both hubs.
A gasket that seals the hub to the truck, and the gasket that seals the dial to the hub body.
I.E Star shaped = hub body-dial gasket
Round gasket= hub body to truck gasket.
Both available at the dealer for around 10 bucks

Are you sure the spring is not stuck inside the dial? Mine were due to grease. I had to use a paper clip end to grab onto it and slide it out.

Wab fab has the spring and ball for like $5 and $1 shipping. Look at the Downey rebuild kit here: http://www.downeyoff-road.com/Chassi...riveTrain.html
It shows all the gaskets, 2 round rubber, 2 star paper, and 2 round paper. 1 of each goes on each side, and you may not need the rubber ones, just depends on what kind of shape yours are in. Then you need the bolts. I looked up mine again and they were about 10 cents each, then if you want a couple of extras and whatever they cost to mail. You can PM me if your interested. Here is the part number and site. 91239A318

I have a paint question..Im leaving the BASE of the HUBs raw metal...than painting the outsdie ring hammered grey. Its reay dark, and also the same color as my wheels. WHAT COLOR should I paint the dials? LEave them red and do white letters? Paint them white and do black letters. Just throw me some ideas.

Ha!! One day your going to be cleaning (or in my case moving is the only reason to clean) and you're going to find a whole closet full of hub gaskets.

I have a real old set for SFA that were blue so I went with that, but my truck is blue too. If I had no other obvious reason to change it I would personally just stick with the red. OR... what have you got free in the garage right now?

I left the dials red..and hand painted all the letters white ;-) I plan on the doing the same on the outer ring. They will be dark grey andi'll hand paint the LOCK and FREE white. Than clear coat over everything so it doesnt get chipped. SICK! lol

Thats pretty silly man, well at least when you find them you will have enough for several re-builds in the future, right?I have a paint question..Im leaving the BASE of the HUBs raw metal...than painting the outsdie ring hammered grey. You can also just sand the paint off the raised letters then clear coat them. Im going to do that when I rebuild mine next..... a few months after I did this I found out the sfa hubs where blue

This shows the stages of cleaning/painting..in order that I did everything. ANy questions just ask!
Used this in a bucket to clean the parts

You can see how much dirt/grime came off!

Good old tooth bursh to scrub and paint thing to apply extra liquid

Nice and shiny ;-)

Hung and ready for primer

Paints I used

first coat of primer

First coat of HAMMERED grey

Original dials

My special touch to the red dials

This is where im at now

Im waiting for the outer rings to dry so I can paint the letters on there to. Than everything gets clear coated
