rear window stuck: 88' runner
well i just got a new (to me) 88 4runner. yesterday i decided to take off the hatch and play in the mudd for a while, and everything was groovy untill i put it back on and the window wouldn't go back up. no motor noise no nothing. i heard that this was a pretty common problem. what can i do to fix it? or atleast get my window back up before it starts to rain.

There is a bolt on the left side of the topper that sends power to the rear window. If that second bolt from the back left is not in, it won't go up.
There are also other things such as the tailgate not being up properly etc.
I really have no clue as my rear window hasn't ever worked lol.

You couldn't get it back in? Would it just not line up (the holes) properly? I'm wondering....just curious...did you follow the tightening procedure in the manual?
