Rear window

Hey everyone! I have two 88' runners. NEITHER OF THE REAR WINDOWS WORK. I have replaced the relays, tested switchs, and made sure all connections were made. I was told that if you dont have a certain bolt holding in the top at a certain hole then the rear window wont work. both are missing two bolts. Can someone please help me out and tell me where the switch is that will allow the rear window to go down. Also does can someone tell me how to get the outer (outside) trim piece off around the back (seat) window?- thank you all so much

The trim will come off with a fillips head screw driver. Bold "A" can be found talked about in the owners manual (either page 53 or 63, can't remember which) and is the one that makes sure the window will not go up with the top off. The switch to lower the window is in the console. If that still doesn't help, then you are probably in need of a new motor for the window to go down. Hope that helps out a little bit.

Bolt A is kinda tucked beside the rear rollbar support. The one with the switch is the driver-side one.

Also make sure the rear window wiper is not on because it shuts off the window motor. My rear wiper is mia but if the switch is on the rear window will not work.
