I rarely use mine since its pretty uncomfortable to sit for long at the extra cab. I have a sub at the back as well. I haven't removed my seats but I would say go for it. Those seats are no better than small cushions.

Keep some cushions as spares and your set!!

I prefer the look of regular cab trucks, but it's no fun having only enough space for some tools and a jack behind the bench. I wish I had the extra space too.

I'm thinking about swapping to buckets with 5-point restraints but I just don't know how I'll fit them in there, I'm a big guy, so space is pretty tight as it is.

Funny thing though, when my pop still had his '88 longbed reg cab my brother and I would squeeze in there with him. Imagine 3 big guys in that little cab, it always sucked to sit in the middle.

Yep, I use mine. My son rides in the back when myself & the wife are in front. Not too often but they are handy.

I think I have maybe one person in the back of my truck once every 6 months. For no more than 20 minutes. I keep all my tools in the cab, I've got a milk crate full of stuff and a spare rear sliding window. Haha. It's nice to keep your tools from getting stolen or rusty.

I use em to cover up my 10" sub when I leave the vehicle. People aren't likely to steal something that isn't in plain view.

I put in a 10" sub behind the driver's seat. The cavity is about 1 cubic foot which acts as a good box for the sub and the sub just fits inside the lid opening. Mounted the sub to the MDF using the original lid as a template. Fit's like a glove...

i use my rear seats but very rarely. What i did was seal the storage compartment on the drivers side. Line the compartment with dynomat or just a cheap knock off lol. Then made a template and flush mounted a kicker L7 8" in there here the pics.

still workin on the side speakers lol

Totally take te seats out and throw a couple subs back there. I have 2 shallow 10's behind the seat of my reg cab, so you can fit anything back there no prob. Maybe you want to do angled enclosures or shallow ones and drop them on top of the seat? Is there enough room in that storage box thing to put a sub? it wont sound as good as a boxed one anyway

I have removed the seats and rear wall covering, "seat back rests" for a starage platform, Underneath is has some room for things and above it gives the dog's much more room and when the dogs arn't in the thuck, there is much more usable space for our things....

I guess putting some subs would rob one of space.... but if that is what one is into yank them out.

Sitting on the platform is no more uncomfortable than sitting in the OEM rear seats, IMHO

I have mine on top of the seats because I still use the factory underseat storage.

I have alot of crap that I keep in the truck (i.e tools, recovery gear, jump leads, emergency crap etc.etc.) If I didnt love the rollbar so much Id get a in bed storage container..

I throw a blanket thats the same colour as my interior over the subs when I park in shady areas. Blends in very well at night.
