Rear seat rattle, 89 4runner, bushing??
Like the title says my rear seats, where they attach to the sides (the seat backs) of the interior, are rattling. I tightened all the connection points but still have a little noise. I noticed that the "hooks" that hold on to the mounting "hoops" don't really clamp down very tight. Anyone put a piece of tubing or a bushing on there so that they hold tighter and don't rattle?
Just one more thing on my endless list of things to do.

Wrap a little electrical tape around the hoops that the seats lock to, that will stop the rattle. When i got my 86 4Runner the seat back latches were completely broken. I went to pic n pull and got some latches from a 2nd gen 4Runner and i was able to make them work. The 2nd gen rear seat latches are all metal, were as the 1st gen rear seat latches are plastic.
