Hey guys and gals, haven't been here much lately...been too busy, I guess. But I'm having an issue with the shifter that changes into 4WD. My rig in a '92, V6 SR5, etc. The thing rattles like no tomorrow! I took it all apart today to see if there was a bushing or something in there that could be replaced to stop the rattling.

It's driving me nuts!

I also looked for something to tighten up and didn't see anything. So I went to the stealer and they weren't much help (big surprise). The gear shifter is fine and doesn't make any noise.

Any tips or tricks on how I can make this stop?! Also, how do you disconnect the overdrive switch harness on the gear shifter? Having that come off would make it a lot easier to work in there...

Motor/trans. mounts could be broken/loose causing the irrating noise. Dont quote me though I have had 6 beers already.
