I got these rubber straps at the local parts store and they're really quieted the exhaust rattling down. You bolt them to the frame, no welding required.

top left corner... looks like a section of tire with holes in it.

 

Where did you pick those up? I remember crappy tire has something similar to that. Im probibly gonna have to re-do the exhaust on my girls 4runner soon, guess I should be lookin fer this kinda stuff...

 

I've seen straps like that at Napa, Autozone and PepBoys down in California.

 

Lordco. They're cheap too, at $4 or something with whatever discount I have.

 

They're really stiff, so they really firm up the exhaust. I bought it cause my tailpipe is loose coming out of the exhaust, and there is only one hanger on it right at the end. It would bounce around and hit the LSPV rod all the time.


I think it actually even added a couple horsepower.
