radiator leak
#21
When I did my radiator, my old shroud was one little peice at the top. I replaced it with a new stocker. I didnt have to remove the fan to install it. To remove:
Unbolt shroud and set it over the fan, this will let you lift the rad out of place.
To install put the shroud over the fan, out of the way and drop the rad in. Easy peasy

I just replaced my radiator with Napa's option, as mine had some leakage around the tube the upper hose connects to. The new radiator has plastic tanks! Kinda like the polymer Glock uses, pretty sturdy, ya know. Anyhow, I think of it this way, you have a small leak in an old radiator...sure, you could fix that leak, but how long before the next one pops up?

Yep, a buddy had a leaking 2WD radiator and he had it patched and it was a few months before it started leaking again. I think he repeated that cycle a couple of times before eventually replacing it.
