Radiator Cap?

Looking for a replacement Radiator Cap, mine leaks. This is an aftermarket radiator on of the ones with the plastic tanks. I am not sure what brand it is.

This radiator takes a larger sized cap than both of my other Yotas. The cap I have - which is junk - is 2 1/4 in diameter, the OE cap is 1 3/4 in diameter.

Since "parts guy" at parts stores don't really know anything about cars any more (they can only find you a part if you can tell them the year/make/model) I am having trouble. When they search on my vehicle (87 4Runner) they always only return a single cap, and it is too small. I gotta believe there is a cap out there that will fit.

I have searched the forums and I have seen discussion about Stant 10329 vs Motorad T13, but I could not conclude from my searches what part number I might need.

LC engineering references 2 different sized caps, and I could order the "larger" cap from them, but then I'd hafta pay shipping and it'd be a week.

Any and all help appreciated.

Mine is a Motorad ST13 about 2.25 in across. I had to pinch the ears a bit so it wouldn't leak.

Pretty sure that is the same cap I have. I pinched down the tabs ever so slightly yesterday and all is good (for now).

Make sure the pressure is the same as factory specs (13 PSI), when I needed the larger radiator cap they gave me a 16 PSI cap and it caused all sorts of problems.
