R151F Dual To Single Case

Greetings

Awhile ago i picked up a 4runner project to part out and it came with a r151f
that had a t/g dual case setup. I really dont need dual cases so i sold the set up for good money and now i want to return it to stock configuration. I kept the rear case that has the 23 spline case adapter but the issue is im not sure how to convert it back to foward shift. I read marlin's install directions hoping i could figure it out but im stumped. I will post pics tonight thanks in advance for dealing with my dumba$$ lol

My reason for not wanting duals is the lower first gear of the r151f helps and i'm planing on using 4.7 gear set and hopefully a twin stick. For the type of wheeling i do and my location (new england) I really don't need dual cases and i really don't want to cut up my floor mess with new drive shafts and have to replace my new bud built x member. I know a guy with this set up and it works very well for the type of wheeling i do.

The cases are pretty much the same internally. You just need the forward shift rails/linkage.

I stuck a R151F in my truck with forward shift setup. Then made a twin stick setup using all Toyota parts. I just used one shift rail from a forward shift case and one shift rail from a top shift case. I cut and combined two cover plates to add another hole and shift boot. Looks factory and works great.

Posted pics on Marlin's site. I think it was under "Poor man's twin stick" I have a hard time trying to post pics here. I'm old and not that computor savy.

I can e-mail you detailed pics if you want.
