Question on 94 3vze engine

Hey all, are these 3vze engines a &*tch to take out or what.
I may be buying a 94 with a locked engine and was wondering ahead of time.

Pulling the engine was a real pita but it was worth it. Drop the rear of the trans a few inches to get to the top bellhouse bolts. You'll need a long extension and swivel for the top bolts. I, also suggest you install headers since the factory exhaust is suggested to cause the overheating problems. Take a lot of pics, especially of the hoses.

If you choose to install headers it is a lot easier since the headers will go on after the engine is in.

Good Luck

I pulled mine twice now but I have a 1.5" body lift to clear my headers. Once you do it a few times its not bad at all in fact I would pull the motor to do head gaskets.

its not very difficult to pull, just be sure to label all hoses, connections, sort the bolts/nuts into marked bags...i just finished this last week and putting it back in was a breeze, only took about four hours. good hunting
