Procomp rear coil springs

Hi, im in the process of lifting my 90 4runner and am looking for used cruiser coils but have had no luck finding any. I found some procomp rear springs that supposedly give you 3.5 inches of lift. Has anyone used these springs? Im just wondering if these springs are any good?

Thanks, Matt

I had the procomp progressives. They were fine and flexed heaps, but after 2 years I started carrying more weight and even with airbags I couldn't stop the coils binding when I hit a big hole whilst loaded up.

If you are not carrying substantial loads regularly the progressives are fine. I swapped in cruiser linear coils, and whilst the ride is firmer it suits the loads I often carry.

Yea well im not really sure if these are progressive or not. Where did you get yours? I saw some on ebay for a pretty reasonable price so im thinking about trying them. I plan on running them with BJ spacers in the front. Any opinions??

they're ok

i have em on right now and I think they arent so bad... I still want the cruiser coils eventually , especially if i get a heavy rear bumper. I am doing the bj spacers too and it should even it up nicely.... one thing though. get manual hubs when you do the front lift. and a longer rear brake line...cheers

prolly shoulda measured that

well I have to say I didnt even measure.... but I think right around 4 inches fairly unloaded. I will tell you that your truck will look retarded like mine if you wait to do the front. and like me your dumb u joint will start to wear out.

actually since I just live in a very small town in canada... I just went to the local auto parts store here and told em what I wanted, they looked it all up and got em .... I think thats the best way to go because most 4x4 specialty store will mark em up. the net is a good resource but I always have to pay stupid duty at the border.
