Procomp ES3000

alright bout to get new shocks for the 94 4runner and want to see what u guys think about these shocks. i plan on addin them to my old man emu 2" coils along with torsion bar adjustments..
i went ahead and bought them for $160 and i was wondering yalls opinion on them. any opinion welcome.

you paid 160?!! I paid 30 bucks each for the es3000's I was running before swapping the out for the OME N86's. I liked the ride quality but I just wanted to get the OME's because of personal preference and the ES3000's made a swishing sound as the fluid moved through it when they would extend and compress that was audible even inside the car. I didn't care for that too much.

yeah, they do indeed make a wooshing sound like keisur described. i have em on my 93 and they work grand. the ride quality is good in my opinion

yeah...

i bought them for 120 then i had to ship them in plus tax so it ended up bein 160. plus i had to buy the boots to go along with them. will they work even though i am gonna be liftin it 2"??

I had the boots and ended up cutting them off because I didn't like the fact that they kept popping off the lip and they just sort of hung there. but of course, I knew the shocks were temporary anyway so I just relied on the wiper at the shaft/tube to keep dirt and water out. I only had them in the rear though. they are good shocks in my opinion, just noisy.

yeah

i got a bout 2 inches of lift with torsion crank and add a leafs and the shocks fit fine.

I actually was using a length of the shock that was made for the F150. same top and bottom mounts and it was 3" longer than my 4runner stock shocks. so I guess I sort of sized them particular to the setup.
