power window wiring help!

Hey folks

My 1990 4unner is driving me nuts

I've been having some problems with my power windows and i need some help.
The driver and the rear one work fine but the other 3 don't.

I jumped all the motors and they all work great (i can get all windows up and down)
I've used my switches in a 4runner with fully functional windows and my switches works fine (the master and the other 3).
Wich leads me to think that there is some faulty wiring or a ground somewhere.

Can anybody shed me some light here
I've been searching this and other boards for help but did not find it yet.

Thank's everybody

What year? My old FJ62 had a problem like that. After 300K+ miles the windows stopped working. After many headaches I found that the contacts on the switches were dirty. I cleaned them with some wd-40 and sandpaper and they worked great there after.

You might check the wiring that goes between the drivers door and body. Opening and closing of the door bends the wires a little each time and over time the wires can break inside the insulation. I think I remember 4crawler describing this problem. I had it happen on a side by side refrigerator door with ice and water in the door, only took 2 1/2 years of opening the freezer door for the wires to break completely in half.
