Power window problem

When I use the power window switch for the passenger window, located on the drivers side master switch it only works intermitently. when i use the switch on the passenger door it works perfect. Any ideas ??? this is my 86 Turbo 4Runner.

Take the switch out and clean it. Likely just built up gunk.

I've seen the wires break in side the harness from years and years of opening the driver's door. Pull the rubber insulator back and take a look, it's usually fairly obvious.

Even if it's not obvious, it's an easy check with a DVOM.
