I've come to this party a little late, so I may be back-tracking.

All answers come from The Good Book (the Factory Service Manual) http://web.archive.org/web/201102052.../7powerwin.pdf The driver's side window switch itself has electronics that allow, for instance, the windows to be rolled up for a few seconds after the key goes to Off. I don't think there is a relay in there, but there are lots of things that can be broken. The power to the window switch comes from the door lock ECU - a separate box. This, for instance, prevents rolling the windows if the door is open. The Integration Relay has nothing to do with the window but it is in the door switch circuit, which is connected to the door lock ECU. The integration relay doesn't appear (I say appear; there is basically no documentation for it) to have any relays or electronics (except for the odd diode). It's mostly just a junction box.

If the inside of the window switch is melted, you need to replace it. (Yeah, you could kluge something up with a bunch of toggle switches if you knew what you were doing. But if you knew what you were doing, you wouldn't want to go to all the trouble.) IF you had a mechanically good switch that had a problem with the electronics, it wouldn't be too hard to bypass the electronics and just use the switches. (You'd lose the one-touch down function and the lower-the-windows-with-key-off, but you could live with that.) But -- you'd have to have some idea what you were doing.

Update on my 1991 4runner with no power to any windows.

I replaced the master window switch panel, and relay. But no luck on getting power. All fuses under steering wheel are good but still no power to the doors. What am I missing? What should I try next? Thanks.

So the litte gear on the motor will roll the window down but it won't give it enough juice to bring it back up, from what I am getting it sounds like a wiring issue? Little help would be awesome 👌

Clean the contacts in the switch, the same wires are used for both directions. All the magic happens in the switch..
