Just curious, is it possible to install the oil transfer tubes in the transfer case upside down. Recently put together dual cases with trailer 4.7s in the resale case using the Trail-Gear doubler. Don’t remember how I put the transfer tubes back in and don’t want to tear it all apart again for “piece of mind”. Has anyone installed them upside down and what were the repercussions of doing so?
My First Toyota 2015 Tacoma TRD purchased brand new. My last! Bought for $500 this January. 1986 4x4 22RE 78,645 miles I’m almost at $2800 into the truck! My 2nd .1995 4x4 v6 4runner bought for $500 and $200 to deliver had 79,000 when purchased this was the day she got delivered right when COVID hit! I put a little over $5000 to get her running.

HA HA Rust? Previous owner is a welder/farmer. Coated bottom years ago needs new coat if I keep her in New York. Few Rust spot here and there on body that Ill eventually repair before new paint job but yeah I got lucky. Both 4 runner and pickup left garaged for years because of electrical issues that previous owners couldn't fix. Then the wife's told them to get rid of them so they say....and now I own them!!!! BAHAHAHAHHA
Here she is. Bought her back in 2018 rebuilt the 22RE put OME suspension under it and am about to re do it all except this time I'm going with a modest SAS and a 1.9L tdi out of a 2003 Jetta. New wheels
Amazing Truck. I've done quite a bit of work. Rear end rebuild. All front end suspension. Valve cover gaskets. (what a $%^&#) New radiator. Timing belt changed. A/C upgraded to newer refrigerant. 246,000 miles and still everything works.
