What products did you use for the dash? Came out looking great!
short strand bondo glass, very thin application of bondo and some glazing putty for final fixes.
Light primer and guide coat to mostly the top repair areas and SEM rattle can that matched very nicely.
Was an experimental process that came out pretty decent.
too bad someone isnt making aftermarket dashes these days- they would sell like hotcakes.
Here is another one out of our familys "collection" of 4 1 gens. Missing a second gen for sure! A third gen looks nice as well. Well... 88 1-gen 4-runner switzerland
That's awesome!
Were those imported from the states?
Hey, two of them from California, one Arizona, one of them from Switzerland.
The black one is original to the family and was bought new in California in 86. It has been mine since I have my license. Never drove something else. My truck really is my oldest friend. <3
A few pics from Appalachian Toyota Round-up 2018. Took place Labor Day weekend at Windrock Off-road Park in Oliver Springs, TN. Out of over 420 vehicles, I was the only 2nd gen (also go a few shots of a 1st gen on one of the trails).
Thats it, come on here and make us salivate and then nothing, no build thread, no interior nothing. Man I feel cheap.
I bought this truck a couple months ago as is, I didn't build myself. I'll probably post more about it in the future, I have some plans for a few changes.

Cool, k I feel better but really that thing is killer dude!!!!
We have been going to a tree farm owned by an older couple near Sherwood, OR for years. The owner does not let anyone cut down trees shorter than 8 feet so he will have trees for next year.
Real, freshly cut trees smell so good!
No pictures at the farm as it was pretty busy.
Don't worry, the tailgate was up and the canopy rear window was tied down during the trip home so the tree had absolutely no way of falling out.
