I'm currently in college so its back home till I can do some work to it. Needs belts, fluids, etc., all the general maintenance stuff. The purple tint has to go, clean up the minimal rust, undercoat. I plan to keep it pretty much stock. No big offroading plans. I'm not a big fan of the black. At some point down the road I'll pull the dents, clean things up, and paint it grey or something. But seems to be mechanically sound, minimal rust, and just what I was looking for.

$3,250. I thought it was a decent deal, I've seen many go for more around here. He had guys lined up to see it. Sold it to me one day after posting. After seeing many come and go real quick over the years, I was prepared to jump when the time was right.

That's not a bad price. My 93 that I built was sold for $4,500. I didn't get that much out of it but the other guy did. It was a complete rebuild tho. I've got a build thread around here somewhere that's shows all my work. Here in WV these toyota's are valuable.

We're you located?

Glad to hear it. I'll have to check out your build thread. I'm in Ohio, currently going to school at OSU. Lots of regular cabs and V6's for sale here, but it's what I've got that seems to be the most desired. Plan is to keep it for as long as possible, rebuild when necessary. Being in school limits my time and location for fixing and building, so I just wanted something that's mechanically sound and not rusted out to get me going. I'll check the timing chain guides this weekend, then go from there.

Nice rig Nick... I have those wheels on my wife's runner. Good shots Red

Got some new slicks on... 37x12.50R17 BFG KM2 on 2007 4Runner wheels. They feel about half the weight of the Goodyear MTs on the steelies

Man I swear I think 40's will fit... Lol
I love how your stuffing those things under there. With you running those 37's have you ever considered TreadWright tires. They carry a 37" tire that's incredibly cheap. And I'm sure with all that snow your rig probably don't see highway speeds very often. So the treadwright tires could possibly suit you we'll. just a option tho.

Can I get rims like that for my pickup? 15x6JJ is what the door sticker says about the rims.

I've run treadwrights for ten years, but they don't make a 37" other than the 16.5" one. No 37 in 17, 16, or 15" wheel. I called them and they have no plans to do so either . I run freeway / highway all the time when I go snowmobiling and ski mountaineering. Pulls my sled at 65 no problem 5.29s + cam + header + exhaust + Camry AFM it pulls strong.

They're just 2007 4Runner rims with wheel spacers to clear a arms. Craigslist for $110

nice runner! I bet it rips with that motor. Do your wheels have safety beads? I had to weld them onto my 16.5" rims to run the humvee tires. If not you will lose a bead very easily under 7-10psi.

Treadwright is moving locations right now, and they told me that is why they don't have anything in stock. They have good stuff for cheap though if you can get it.

here's a side of tires

Your rig is so sweet. You're running no lift, right? And did extensive trimming?
