I'm not sure if i ever posted any pix of the first toyota i ever owned but Here is my old faithful. Man do i miss this old truck. It was totally stock only thing it had were 31/12.5/15 thornbird mud terrains and rancho suspension. But damn do i miss her. Anyway here are some pix in memory of my 1986 SR5 22r Toyota Pickup. And i bought her all by myself during my senior year of high school. I was one of the few with their own cars and the only one that bought their own car. I was proud of myself.

I felt the same way until kids started showing up in brand new subarus and Chevys that mommy and daddy bought them.
I am still proud that I'm one of the only kids in my town that actually got a job to buy a car, I've noticed that I cherish my car a lot more than they do too.

Thanks guys I thought it was a beautiful truck too. I loved it and regret ever parting with it. One of the few decisions in life I regret very very much.

And stew I totally agree with what you said. It was the same thing for me. Parents buying their kids cars rather then making them work hard to earn it themselves. I worked construction(mixing cement, laying tile and slab; granite, marble etc...) Point being it was super heavy work and I did it for 3 years during school vacations and weekends. Felt like slave work at times lol needless to say, hell yea, I appreciated my truck. And not to mention doing all that work and being a hardcore workout addict during junior amd senior years really got me cut up and super fit. Best shape I've ever been in.
And to top it off that truck didn't have any power steering. It was all elbow grease lol.

Post some pics of the interior and engine. I'm just curious to see what it looks like.

I have Hankook Dynapro mt's with 265/75/16's and V-tec Raptor wheels I had my rear springs rearched and added a leaf so i'm about 2" above stock and just raised my torsion bars in the front.

Yep. I was working as an electricians apprentice for about a year and a half in Union. But due to lack of work and constant lay offs I decided to leave. Now im doing a security job in down town los Angeles. And I just cant shake off the feeling of wearing a suit to work every day I feel weird. It's not physical what so ever.

But I understand what ur saying.

Greg. U down to trade that beautiful truck of yours? Lol jk. Very nice. Almost looks like a show truck.

I could never sell or trade it, my dad bought it new it's one of those sentimental things.. I need to put more pictures up I built a back bumper for it a couple weeks ago and and am working on a design for a front bumper that I plan on building for a winter project, I'm waiting for my Bikini top from wabfab also.. thanks it is a very clean 4runner it sat for 12 years after my dad passed away before I could get my step mother to sell it to me..
