Thanks Redeth005, 93Xtra-Cab, Noree and Badger62811. I think the Nurf bars are going to be replaced with some good looking sliders in the next little bit... I have lot's of great ideas but need a little more budget haha. And yes, it's a pretty big job to get her all cleaned up after a couple days of trailing, but it's worth it when you get the head turns while driving down the road!

RAD, ..... great posting!

Far as the Pass, it depends on weight inside, gearing, CAM, from what I've found in my 22RE. On the other side, the CAHON pass, which is pretty nasty, I can pull 55-65 in 4th in the worst spots... Even 70 in 5th at times... But on 'The Tehon'.... yeah, I think you're within reason.... IT'S A LONG PASS, RIGHT? hahaha.. You find yourself tapping on the dash, talking to her, saying, "I know you can do it, c'mon girl!"????? haahahhaha... I have, MANY TIMES.

Now I'm running 31's/4:30 gears/261 CAM and I'm amazed how much a difference that(along with a fresh rebuild) made in these challenging CA "PASSES"... Coming back, heading UP the 'Grapevine'.......... how'd it do?

Amen, Thump!.
Chrome belongs on Escalades.

Thanks, Chef.
She's stock, except for the rims that stick out a little from under the body. Would like to do those upgrades as parts need replacing but knowing Yotas' ... might take a while

Driving back south, same. Some sections where she'd only run 55MPH.

Folks,
Unnecessary trim catches and retains water-worse when I start loading my kayaks on the runner, so I wanna remove the chrome trim from the wheelwell and rocker panel. Is it fairly easy to do without leaving holes?

Nice Rig, KBar.... I spy a Baja, too, eh? Someone likes to fly in the dirt AND creep around, I take it? hehe... Love the white ones Interesting Stripping/decal, too. Not sure I've seen that one.

Had to take a pic of this HEEP I saw in the parking lot at work today. The window decal is priceless. I'm assuming he's fed up with the HEEP life and is selling it to buy a YOTA

Seems like EVERYONE has a HEEP in my parking lot. There's one badass 85-ish p/u though. I heard the guy say "that truck reminds me of my last one" when I drove by him the other day... I like to find the clusters of J**Ps and park right in the middle of them... Makes my truck feel better about itself.

Yeah same here, I park on 4x4 row at work. All dodges and heeps, and my runner sitting right on the end getting all the attention.

Thats what I do but I park in the middle of all the big lifted Chevy and Dodge DIEsels. And I usually say, "Hey look that 4runner is bigger than your duramax" as we walk into the shop...

If I knew who drives a jeep I'd track them down and tell them "hey some dude in a Toyota just totally drove over your jeep"
