Wow, thats one heckova camera Shoua! Lol, makes your truck look heavily modified almost. Cool Emblem Too!

The Mojave Desert might LOOK like a Mad Max movie set, but My rigs way cooler than anything that was in those movies . Though If I really wanted one of those odd looking rigs from Thunderdome...a handful of the ACTUAL working ones from the movie are parked in a yard in a town pretty close by, lol

It's my little video camera that I use to record my mountain runs with the motorcycle. It's got a 170 degree lense to capture the surrounding areas, and it also takes pics like a regular 5 megapixel camera too. Just thought I'd get a few pics of my truck with it.

Hey Toyo, .....

I'll have to look it up on the shock or box... They're the Sport Nitro ones for the 2" lift. I hope they're not too stiff,...but ANYTHING is better than what I had! lol. I had ordered them, all 3, from Rocky Road... it was going on 2 weeks and I called and they said, "5 weeks back ordered, at least"...... I called ARB and they drop shipped em for me THAT DAY! lol. Whatever ARB had, ....it was the same Number I read to them from the Rocky Road site...and Rocky Road gets all their shocks from.... well, obviously, ARBUSA, haha.

You like em?

i order N94 and N98 from a local 4 wheel parts store. the N94 i got look like the front ones you got, it has a new boot cover, all plastic instead of rubber.
heres the pix of mine
https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f199...69/index3.html
bottom of the page, they are both nitrocharge and i know OME just started to release a new version of their shocks, not sure if they changed anything internally or just went from rubber boot to the plastic

Hmmmm, now you got me paranoid, thinking maybe they sent me the rear shocks! hahaha.. Jk, ...I don't think they'd even compress enough to fit in there, .........RIGHT? LOL. Anyway, I doubt they're ANY LESSER in quality, Toyo.... Probably just a different style boot; The new style is for(what I think is..... >>>) 'Rust Prevention' on the shaft?? Seems like most guys take those boots off... but on mine, I was looking, and like your rear one...they're NOT taken off without some serious prying/hacking, lol. They appear to be fixed in there. Not sure why they changed em. Maybe you could have just asked them, "Hey, why you send me these versions?" ????? They are pretty good on warranty, right? So, God forbid something happens, ... you'll get the black cover ones like your rear/my fronts???

Hahaha... Thanks! And; I'm not even done, Moze, .... still have to clean the arms and the front frame portion, then paint the diff tube up front(rear is painted, all of it).... But honestly? On all my trips that I took, we always stopped in town in the Sierras, coming back home, and pressure washed the trucks down. For one, because it's just something my pops used to do in his 70 Built Up Bronco.... secondly, because I wanna get whatever crap I can out of the Front end Stuffs, before getting home.... which is where I want to SLEEP FOR 2 DAYS after some of our adventures! Sadly, with this rig, while it has seen TONS of adventures, deep into the Sierras, Sequoias, etc., ...... it's been down for about a year, wheeling wise! GRRR! Oh well, hopefully that's all remedied, SOON!

Far as cleaning some of it, ...I have a plastic scraper that I shave the build up off the arms, cross member, etc.. Now I have some thick paint on there(some of it), so hopefully it will wash off fairly easily, after my COMING ADVENTURES! lol. If I lived in the desert, and wheeled every day in the mountains, desert, etc., .... it probably wouldn't look like that, Moze... But trust me, the thing has been wheeled, hard, for a stocky with 31's, previously, lol.

I feel your pain, Chef. I haven't been able to wheel mine for almost two years. It still sits on the carport now needing all the front suspension work done, and I'm too broke to get the parts. Even if I had the parts, still need tires... Wife gives me a hard time about the truck never working right, but she knows I trying to put it back together. The po mainly used it just to get to his hunting sites, and then blister down a trail. Who knows what else I'll find needing work.
