Btw, thanks for the complement. It's actually a Downey Bumper/Grill guard. Downey, as you might know, is out of biz, and I got one of the last 3 for 90$ STOKED! lol. I wanted to keep my stock bumper underneath, etc....so it worked out great for me. It's very sturdy too. Not sure who makes them of this quality... Seen some ProComp ones, but they were REALLY cheesy(not saying they all are, nothing against them). I'm sure, if you wanted to keep yuor stock bumper, one of the great guys from Marlin or Trail Gear or VERY likely, Addicted Offroad might make one for ya. Even the light tabs on mine are almost 1/4"(not sure of the size, but they're THICK, lol. I was hoping to get one of his skid plates, but they were out.....so C'est La Vie, eh? lol.(Jim, the owner of Downey is still liquidating his product on ebay under Tojo Products..but like I said, "NO MO" on this one particular thing. Maybe you could ask him if he shot the blueprint to someone else? Or maybe he has the numbers, and you could give them to a welder friend? lol.

Anyway, have a great Christmas and New Year, 9.4!

Mark
thanx man i will ask him and that was a great find on the bumper but sucks that they dont have anymore i realy wanted it but i will keep looking for one like it cause i realy want to keep my stock bumper.

Have a great Christmas and happy New Year to u to Chef!

Beautiful truck man, how much lift have you got, and what are your axles off from, they don't look like any yota axles I've ecer seen.

Yeah it's coming along slowly but surely.I had a good platform to start with, motor has 10k,t-case i geared, diffs are geared and locked.I'll be putting new carpet in, dynamatting the cab and doors, aswell as a nice audio setup.

Looking into some bumpers, and a solid axle eventually.

For now she's my daily driver.

Thanks. More lift than I like. 4" rear springs and 3.5" front springs and 1" body. Probably something like 9". I'd rather it sit lower and cut more sheet metal out. Rear axle is stock ifs housing with stock shafts, front is a trailgear housing with longs and hub gears.

Seeing if the rear would rub since these wheels have a 5" backspace..Nope!

Still gonna do some wheel spacers.Or a v6 rear axle.

What better way to spend the day off? I just looked all over pages 60-220 today. Sweet rigs guys! Ive definitely gotten some new ideas for my rig!

Ive been a member here for a couple years, but never posted up. I talked to a few members off and on, (DIRTCO was a big help in searching for a nice first gen. Thanks DIRTCO! ) and creeped on the forums but never had a reason to post up.

So glad i finally switched over from the dark ( J**p ) side!

Still trying to figure out how to run a roof rack with the soft-topper. I saw SKNKWRX's rig, but it appears he hasn't been active lately. Ill have to try to contact him anyway.

Im so happy with the yota. Definitely worth the 500 mile round trip to get it!

Its an 89 4Runner, more info in my build thread!

Anyway, heres a few shots of the rig.

Pics from today. Local club (Green Mountain Crawlers) hosted a food drive/wheelin at M.O.R.E today. Heres some pics. Had about 20 rigs total...only 3 yotas.

Getting winched of after destroying a CV.

On the way home. Bent my bumper trying to push a jeep who snapped a rear u-joint. Stupid move, but it seemed like a good idea at a time. Ill just take it off and hammer out it. No harm done.

Oops, been working alot super tired. I meant a 4runner Limited axle with the e-locker,might weld spring mounts on it or just take the e-locker.I'm trying to buy a wrecked 98 4runner limited with the 3.4 I'd swap in eventually. We'll see.

Cleaned it up and took some better pics
When I trimmed and rolled the bedsides I tried to make them follow the front fender lines.
