Cool, Yeehaw...... I LOVE the 1st Gen Xtra Cabs. There's a guy here, down the road in Lomita(a Sheriff), who has an 85 4x4 Xtra Cab, SR5....CLEANEST I'VE EVER SEEN! I, and many others, have tried to purchase it from him. To which he responded, "A cold day in hell before they tear this from my death grip!.... I bought it new, and it's original paint, restored suspension, .....that's it, all original and MINE forever! Hahaha".

I'ma try and get a picture of it for this thread, ...THE THING IS SPOTLESS, underneath and all!

Best wishes with the project toy, Yeehaw!

Hey Guys

Just thought i would put up a pic or 3 of my 90 4Runner.This is my first 4Runner. I got this a few months ago. it is very very clean and only had 103k miles on it(gone 2k so far). I know this is a picture thread but i was wondering what you guys think? Do you like the Stance? I am running 32" M/T's. I only get about 10mph and the power in 1st gear on even just the slightest slope is almost no existent(i guess this is normal from what i have been reading?). Looking for something i can do to get a few more HP's and maybe a few more MPG's.

Love this site! you guys have some very nice rides.

yanno ive always found this weird...i run 34's on my truck that has 300,000miles and only a header installed and i do fine..i can spin the tires around corners and sometimes off the line. i can cruise around town in 5th gear and i climb hills no problem and can do 70 on the highway relaxed...im starting to think maybe my truck might not have 4.10's?

I have no problem on the street with flat ground. If i am at any kind of incline then thats where it lacks the power. don't get me wrong its not undrivable by any means, just weak. What kind of Mileage are you getting?
