Small Update on my truck,

For those of you who may not have read all the way through...

How I bought it,

Some factory alloys, and 31X10.50 Mud Brutes,

A more up to date picture, SPECIAL DELIVERY!!

My good meat headed friend working away while I was snapping a few shots lol!

Some lightly used Super Swamper TSL Radials 32X10.50 On a 15X10 rim. They might as well call them 33's though, they measure out to 33 inches fully inflated and 32.5 once on the truck.

My girlfriend wanted a rig, as she actually worked with the Toyota Trail Team doing ride and drives on their off road course. So we found a nearly cherry '91 5-speed with a rod knock for about $500. After I put a new bottom end.... Timing Chain, tensioner, guides, rebuilt the top end... New oil pump, water pump.... New radiator... Suffice it to say, it has a 'little' more power than my truck... Its sitting on blacked out American racing steelies with Cooper Discoverer ATR 235/75/15's

And yes that is a 2WD grille, thats how it came when we bought it. Worry not! I have ordered the appropriate grille lol!

Here it is with the Mud Brutes.

In trade I get the almost brand new ATR's to drive on the street with.... Oh I forgot to mention, it also came with BRAND new shocks, brakes, steering components, and the new tires. It rides better than some new cars Ive been in! New shocks make a HELL of a difference! She will probably get the roll bar as I am thinking a truggy style flatbed is in my future.... Cross your fingers, I may get some wheeling pics soon!!

Still deciding on what to do for a front bumper.

You got rid of the roof rack? What happened to your Warn bumper? How'd that rock assault install go? I've heard those things are a little difficult to mess with, what did you think? And what's the story with your tube doors, home made or what? When are you getting the 4d's mounted? I think that's all the questions I have for now haha!

Yeah the rack ended up hitting more stuff in the woods than it carried, also it put a noticeable drag on the pathetic 22re on the highway so I pulled it. The warn bumper is for sale. It's just too heavy and bulky for me and I don't want to cut the brackets up to fix it for the 1" body lift so I figured I'd just let someone else use it stock. I'm going with a stinger bumper kit from frontier4x4. http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=795834

Rock assault install was cake compared to the work I put in with moving the front hanger forward an inch. Pretty much redid the work I did with the original swap, but at least the axle sits where I want it now. Also had to grind my calipers to fit the wheels since there's no need to run 1.5" wheel spacers to match the rear. Rock assault housing is 3" wider.

The tube doors are from 4xinnovations. They just recently redid the latch system on them I think. http://www.4xinnovations.com/pages/guarding/doors.htm

39.5's are going on whenever I can find a smoking deal on 39.5x13 iroks and sell my 37's. Probably not any time soon.
