I assume you took the pad off to back it with a plate or huge washers.

How's the wifey like the FJ? Any plans for it?

Welcome to Yotatech, Mr. Quick

Thanks, it's been a fun swap to drive around

I swiped the roof rack off an Isuzu. The rail that mounts to the roof is pretty common, Jeep Cherokees use the same exact rail except theirs are 5-6 feet long, the Jeep cross bars stand taller though. I recently installed 2 more cross bars and plan to run several hollow aluminum railing balusters front to back and fastened to the cross bars with riv-nuts to make a rigid platform. I'm avoiding side and front/back rails so I don't take an MPG hit from aerodynamics.

here are the type of baluster I want to use (I may fill them with structural foam before capping and fastening them down)

Taken last night, about 23 degrees. Love the smoke look. Lockers are not much help when you get high centered in this hole

Driveway shot. Just installed an AAL to get rid of the booty droop. Hope to get a little dirty next weekend. Saving up for sliders and a rear bumper that isn't toast..

^^ Also like those tires. I had a set of the M/ts back when they made those and loved them. How are you liking this new pattern?

T.O & RE-RE,

I like them alot, havent got to drive on wet pavement yet or do any wheeling. They have good looking pattern that should make them perform well. Slight road noise when you get up to 40, but really quiet for an M/T. They ride pretty good overall.

They are actually about an inch taller than my other 285's. From the ground to the top of the tires measures right at 32''. Which means there like a 34? rather than 33's like my other ones

Nice, so their a 285xx15? Please do tell about wet or offroad traction soon as u have a chance. Am thinking of getting a set after summer. I'm running ProComp X-Terrain's and their wet traction is OK...off road is better than my BFG's & PC AT's.

There a 285/75/16. which most r about ~33x11.30 or my terra grapplers were. These r the same size but r almost an inch taller.

And I will post some more pics when i go wheeling and let u know how they do

I picked this thing up for $600 on Sat. It has a knock but I bought it with the intention of doing an engine swap.
