I didn't do it.

Hey now. If I was the guy that broke into your truck and took your pants, I wouldn't be in this sunroof insert thread in the first place, would I?

bit late posting...

Hi everyone...I just made a sunroof cover....I am about a 1/4" too big on each side! Won't fit in the hole...What are the dimensions of your shade you made? It would do greatly to know. Thank you in advance

Some people have asked me recently how my Moon roof cover is holding up.
It's been a little over 5 years and I'm happy to say other than the edge molding coming off
its still works and looks like the day I made it.

The sticky glue that holds the molding just isn't strong enough during the summer
It looks fine without it. Just not a priority to put it back on.
It still beats $650.00 for a factory cover, which I'm sure has gone way up in price since 2012.

looks good just a little weathered. I sold my truck a while back and bought it back earlier this year and my cover is gone......oh well.

Ya, I remember yours, it was cool.
Kinda looked like a submarine hatch.
Well, are you going to make a new one?

I might use your idea this time though because cutting plywood, covering in foam and wrapping it in vinyl was a pain in the butt.
