plasma boost gauge :)

well fitted a plasma boost gauge today and cant be more impressed with it, its in psi instead of bar but as the 2.4 2lte only kicks out 11psi before limp mode i thought this was the way forward. ill get some pics of it fitted to the truck but here is the gauge on ebay the item number for it 180521851776
ive also orderd a cool plasma dial kit which should be here tomoz heres the item number if intrested 250732280288 ill also post pics of it once fitted. if any one needs any help on fitting either giz a shout or if ya want a step by step guide for the dials let me know and ill show ya how to do it.

you can change that by changing the afm calibration and useing higher-flow injectors to compensate... might need a higher flow fuel pump to work that though at higher air flow / boost conditions.

want to see the meter though.
hiya mate, mine is a 2.4td and the gauge is mesuring the vacuum line coming off the high pressure turbo switch so it is reading accuratly to the vacuum pressure going to the turbo, on the 2.4 a common mod to up boost pressure is to put washers behind the actuator but after 11.psi of boost pressure it puts the ecu in to limp home mode for over boosting. so if any one has a 2.4 or 3.0 td dont put a boost controller on as they are a waste of time and the gain you would get isnt worth the hassle.

anyway here is a pic of the gauge in the truck and a short vid of it running
