plasma boost gauge :)
well fitted a plasma boost gauge today and cant be more impressed with it, its in psi instead of bar but as the 2.4 2lte only kicks out 11psi before limp mode i thought this was the way forward. ill get some pics of it fitted to the truck but here is the gauge on ebay the item number for it 180521851776
ive also orderd a cool plasma dial kit which should be here tomoz heres the item number if intrested 250732280288 ill also post pics of it once fitted. if any one needs any help on fitting either giz a shout or if ya want a step by step guide for the dials let me know and ill show ya how to do it.

fuel cut is not caused by boost. the ecu doesn't measure boost.
it is caused by air flow meter reading and injector duration, which are inderictly influenced by boost. if the afm is reading near fully open and injectors are held open too long the ecu turns off the injectors.
you can change that by changing the afm calibration and useing higher-flow injectors to compensate... might need a higher flow fuel pump to work that though at higher air flow / boost conditions.
want to see the meter though.
